Sharon-Lee Duff

Sharon is a trauma-informed psychologist and clinical hypnotherapist who has worked in the community sector and in private practice since 2005. She has delivered community project work including DBT Skills Training program, a prison-based drug and alcohol program, and individual sessions within the age-care sector. Sharon uses a holistic approach in her work with clients and her focus is to assist clients to be able to live their best life. Her practice not only focuses on mind and body, but also considers spiritual beliefs. 

Sharon works collaboratively with adults across the lifespan and her primary area of interest is trauma. She uses a strong knowledge base in her practice when providing evidence-based treatment for posttraumatic stress disorder, complex childhood trauma, and adjustment disorder. A primary area of focus is understanding the somatic aspect of trauma, increasing understanding about self-regulation. Sharon is passionate about the use of EMDR Therapy, an evidence-based treatment for trauma and many other conditions, but also uses other therapy modalities in her practice. EMDR Therapy can also be helpful for addiction.
